Bivy Stick Lights and Their Meanings

  • Status Light Indicators

    Blinking Yellow
    A message is currently being sent to the satellite network. Once the yellow blinking stops, all queued messages have been successfully sent.

    Blinking Green
    You have received a message. Connect your phone to the Bivy Stick via Bluetooth and open the app to receive and read the message.

    Blinking Blue
    The device is actively tracking and sending location points to your private tracking URL at the interval selected in the app.

    Blinking Red
    SOS mode has been activated.

  • Signal Light Indicators

    Solid Green
    Strong satellite connection.

    Blinking Green
    The device is acquiring a GPS location. This should only last a few seconds when outdoors with a clear view of the sky. The device will not obtain a GPS lock indoors.

    Solid Yellow
    Medium or weak satellite connection.

    Solid Red
    Weak or no satellite connection.

  • Power Light Indicators

    Green
    Battery level is 50% or higher.

    Yellow
    Battery level is between 20% and 50%.

    Red
    Battery level is 20% or lower.

Charging Indicator

When the device is plugged in and charging, the LED next to the power light will flash.

  • If the device is powered on while charging, the LED will turn solid green once charging is complete.
  • If the device is powered off while charging, the LED will turn off once charging is complete.
