Send a direct message if you want it to go to only one person, and you want to know for sure that they got it.
- Click the Messages tab at the bottom of the Bivy app
- Click the New Message icon (pencil and paper) at the top right of the screen
- Click in the space to the right of To:
- You will see 3 or 4 tabs: Mesh Nearby, Contacts, Bivy Users, Favorites
- Clicking Mesh Nearby will show you other Mesh devices near you. If there are no other Mesh devices near you, you will not see Mesh Nearby as an option. Contacts will show your phone contacts' phone numbers and email addresses, if you have allowed the Bivy app to have access. Bivy Users is the usernames of other Bivy users you could send a message to. Favorites is anyone you have selected for easy access
- Click Mesh Nearby
- Click a Mesh user you wish to send a message to
- Type your message and click Send
- After some time, you will receive confirmation that the message was received (if it indeed was) similar to a Shout message
