Marine Weather

There are two different ways to request a Weather Report. You can tap on the Weather button on the Stick screen to get a Weather report for your current location, or a long press anywhere on the Map screen will initiate a Weather Request for that specified location.

                     

                                                                          

Both methods will take the user to a selection screen where they can choose which type of report they want, General or Marine. Users with an unlimited plan will receive either a Premium or Marine forecast without further prompting. If you have any other plan you will then be able to select whether you want a Premium, Marine, or Standard forecast.

* If you have service, Weather requests will populate quickly and will always be a Premium forecast. If you don't, requests will be sent out via your connected Bivy Stick. Once a forecast has been retrieved, you will receive a notification. You can either tap on the notification or tap on the Weather button on the Stick screen, and then choose either General or Marine, depending on which type was requested. Reports are saved until a new one is received or they are out of date.

* All times shown in the forecast are for the user's current location, regardless of where the forecast is for.

* Tapping on Refresh in the upper right corner of the forecast will request a new forecast of that type.
