My Bivy Stick won't connect Bluetooth

If you're having trouble getting your Bivy Stick to connect via Bluetooth, here are the key troubleshooting steps to follow:

1. Always connect through the Bivy App — Do not try to pair or connect directly in your phone's Bluetooth settings. The app handles the pairing securely and correctly.

2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone — Go to your phone's Settings > Bluetooth and confirm it's turned on. If it's already on, try toggling it off and back on to refresh the connection.

3. Check to see if you've allowed the Bivy App access to Bluetooth-            
  • Open the settings app on your phone
  • Scroll down and select Apps
  • Find and tap on the Bivy app.
  • Go to Permissions (or look for Bluetooth/Location-related options).
  • Make sure Bluetooth access is allowed (some versions may also require Location permissions for Bluetooth scanning). If it's denied, enable it and restart the app.
